The Matrix (1999)

The film follows Thomas Anderson, a computer programmer known as Neo, who discovers that the world he lives in is a simulated reality created by intelligent machines to subdue humanity. Neo joins a group of rebels led by Morpheus to fight against the machines and free humanity from their control. 

Terminator 2: Judgment Day  (1991)

The film is a sequel to "The Terminator" (1984) and follows Sarah Connor and her son John as they are pursued by two time-traveling cyborgs – a reprogrammed Terminator (played by Arnold Schwarzenegger) sent to protect John, and the advanced shape-shifting T-1000 (played by Robert Patrick) sent to kill him. 

Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)

Set in a dystopian future where resources are scarce, the film follows Max Rockatansky, played by Tom Hardy, who joins forces with Imperator Furiosa, played by Charlize Theron, to escape from a tyrannical warlord named Immortan Joe. They embark on a high-octane journey across the desert wasteland, pursued by Joe and his army of fanatical followers. 

Kill Bill : Volume 1 (2003)

The film follows a character known as "The Bride" (played by Uma Thurman), who wakes up from a four-year coma and seeks revenge on her former lover Bill (portrayed by David Carradine) and the team of assassins who betrayed her on her wedding day. The story is presented in a non-linear format, with flashbacks revealing the Bride's backstory and her journey to seek vengeance.
