Karan Johar is bringing another love story to the screen titled ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.’ The film will star Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, who previously appeared together in ‘Bawaal.’
A brand new romantic saga is on its way, featuring the talented duo of Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor. Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions has just unveiled their latest love story, titled “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari,” with these two stars in the lead roles. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, renowned for his directorial success with “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania” and its follow-up “Badrinath Ki Dulhania,” this film is poised to charm audiences with its enchanting storyline.
‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ also marks the reunion of Varun and Janhvi, who were last seen together in Nitesh Tiwari’s relationship drama, ‘Bawaal.’
Varun Dhawan and Shashank Khaitan have previously collaborated on the Dulhania film series, alongside Alia Bhatt. Additionally, Shashank Khaitan has previously directed Janhvi Kapoor in her debut film, Dhadak.
Dharma Productions’ official page shared an announcement video, accompanied by a lively Pritam melody. In the video, Varun was introduced as Sunny Sanskari and Janhvi as Tulsi Kumari. The video concluded with a snippet from the song “Ishq Manzoor,” featuring lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya
The announcement post for the film featured the caption, “Our Sanskari is on his way to find his Kumari! This entertaining love story is coming to cinemas! Look out for ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ on April 18, 2025.”
Scheduled for a grand theatrical release on April 18, 2025, ‘Sunny Sansakri Ki Tulsi Kumari’ will feature Varun as Sunny Sanskari and Janhvi as Tulsi Kumari. The film is co-produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan.
In the meantime, Varun is gearing up for the release of the action-packed thriller film ‘Baby John,’ scheduled to hit theaters on May 31, 2024. Additionally, he is set to star in the upcoming web series ‘Citadel.’
On the other hand, Janhvi is busy with her upcoming projects. She is set to appear in the sports drama film ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ and the highly anticipated pan-India film ‘Devara.’
